Jessie completed her 200-hour training in 2024 at YogaSalt and has been in love with teaching ever since. Jessie believes yoga is far less about what a pose looks like and far more about what we learn about ourselves while we’re in it. She is a lifelong athlete and former collegiate volleyball player and has spent much of her life believing movement was about pushing harder, performing better, and finding the next edge. Yoga offered her something different: a place to be curious instead of critical, to breathe through discomfort, to play, and to remember that movement can be about experiencing your life—not constantly trying to improve it. That discovery is at the heart of why she teaches.
Jessie’s classes blend thoughtful, creative sequencing with strength, mobility, breath, philosophy, and a healthy dose of not taking ourselves too seriously. She loves weaving yoga’s deeper teachings into the physical practice in ways that feel approachable and relevant to the beautiful, chaotic experience of being human. Expect to be challenged in the best way, encouraged to explore, occasionally surprised by what your body can do, and always reminded that the shape is never the point.
With a background spanning athletic performance, trauma-informed yoga, meditation, yin, vinyasa, power, and stand-up paddleboard yoga, Jessie teaches across a wide range of styles and students. Whether she’s guiding a sweaty power flow, slowing things down in yin, or teaching with an ocean beneath her, her intention remains the same: to create a space where people feel welcome exactly as they are. Because for Jessie, yoga isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about creating enough space to come home to who you’ve been all along.
