about

Katie Godfrey

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Hi! My name is Katie, and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) here at Evoke Mind and Body. I am passionate about working with adults of all ages, including young adults and college-aged people. Life and transitions can be overwhelming and stressful, resulting in worry, nervousness, and feeling stuck. I specialize in addressing anxiety, adulting woes, OCD, relationship difficulties or challenges, and perfectionism.

I believe EVERYONE has strengths, and we will focus on recognizing and building on yours. I most often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness but utilize a comprehensive approach depending on your needs. Expect a judgment-free zone when you walk into the therapy room with me, where we will identify your individual goals to help guide your treatment. I firmly believe that every person can benefit from therapy! You don’t have to be in crisis to reach out and get the help and support you deserve with whatever you are going through. I look forward to meeting you!
