I received my Masters in Clinical Social Work from Simmons University in Boston. I was happy to trade my snow boots for flip-flops when I came to this beautiful state! I have loved my career path working with young adults and adults in a variety of settings such as community mental health, crisis intervention, and schools. I have also provided sexual health education to various audiences and consider myself a safe and supportive ally for the LGBTQIA+ community. I use an integrative approach to therapeutic interventions with compassion and empathy. I support my clients with a trauma-informed lens, applying elements of Mindfulness, Cognitive and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (CBT, DBT), Bibliotherapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy with the understanding that one size does not fit all.
