Veronica Tapia is a 500-hour yoga teacher certified in Ashtanga, Hatha, and Vinyasa yoga. She completed her teacher training in Koh Phangan, Thailand in 2018 and in Rishikesh, India in 2023 to be trained on the ancient Eastern tradition of yoga. Veronica has experienced firsthand the benefits that a consistent yoga practice can have on the mind, body, and spirit. She is passionate about sharing this knowledge with others to encourage healing and spread joy. She hopes that her representation as a Latina practitioner will encourage diverse groups to consider giving yoga a try!
Off the mat, Veronica is the founding program director of UNCW College Advising Corps, a non-profit AmeriCorps program that works to extend post-secondary opportunities to low-income and underrepresented high school students. When she’s not in the office or on the mat, chances are you will find her at the beach!
