How it Works:

STEP 1: Initial Consultation

Begin with a 120-minute session to explore your current health and lifestyle. We’ll dive into your goals and uncover any patterns or areas that may need attention, giving us the foundation to create a plan that fits your life.

STEP 2: Personalized Wellness Roadmap

From here, we’ll craft a flexible roadmap that evolves as you do. Whether the focus is on finding balance, improving energy, or creating healthier habits, your wellness journey will shift to reflect where you are and what you need.

STEP 3: Health Discovery

Depending on your specific needs, we may recommend testing for hormone imbalances, toxins, or other underlying factors. These insights give us powerful data to guide our next steps and drive meaningful changes. Beyond testing, we’ll evaluate key influences like your environment, food choices, and the products you use, allowing us to make informed recommendations that directly support your progress.

STEP 4: Ongoing Support

As you progress through the program, we’ll tailor follow-up sessions and check-ins to match your needs. Think of us as your accountability partner! We’ll refine your wellness roadmap as needed to keep you on track with your goals and momentum, providing the flexibility and support you need to revive your well-being and thrive.

types of integrative health

Functional
Medicine
Functional Medicine: An approach that seeks to identify and address the root causes of health issues, rather than just treating symptoms. Practitioners look at how genetics, environment, and lifestyle factors interact to influence health. They often use detailed lab testing to uncover underlying imbalances or dysfunctions and create highly personalized treatment plans.
Ayurveda
Ayurveda: An ancient healing system from India that views health as a state of balance between mind, body, and spirit. In integrated health practice, Ayurvedic principles are used to assess a client's constitution (or dosha) and recommend specific dietary changes, herbal remedies, and daily routines to promote balance. This often includes mind-body practices like yoga and meditation.
Naturopathy
Naturopathy: Focuses on supporting the body's innate ability to heal itself. In integrated health practice, naturopathic techniques are used to stimulate this self-healing process through natural therapies. These may include nutritional counseling, botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, and lifestyle modifications.
Traditional
Chinese
Medicine (TCM)
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM): Views health as a state of balance and harmony within the body and its environment. Practitioners may use acupuncture, herbal medicines, or recommend practices like tai chi or qigong. TCM focuses on the concept of qi (life energy) and how it flows through the body's meridians.
Mind-Body
Medicine
Mind-Body Medicine: Recognizes the connections between emotional, mental, social, spiritual, and physical health. Practitioners may use techniques such as biofeedback, guided imagery, hypnotherapy, and mindfulness meditation to help clients manage stress, reduce pain, improve mood, and enhance overall well-being.
Nutritional
Therapy
Nutritional Therapy: Goes beyond general dietary advice. Practitioners create personalized nutritional plans based on an individual's unique biochemistry, health status, and goals. They may use advanced nutritional testing to identify deficiencies or imbalances and recommend specific dietary changes or supplements.
Herbal Medicine
(Phytotherapy)
Herbal Medicine (Phytotherapy): Uses plant-based remedies to support health and treat various conditions. Practitioners may recommend specific herbs or herbal formulations based on traditional uses and modern research. These might be used alongside conventional treatments or as alternatives, depending on the situation.
Energy Healing
Modalities
Energy Healing Modalities: Modalities such as Reiki or therapeutic touch are based on the concept of an unseen life force energy that affects our health. Practitioners aim to channel this energy to support the body's natural healing processes. While scientific evidence is limited, many clients find these helpful for relaxation and stress reduction.
Movement
Therapies
Movement Therapies: Many practitioners incorporate movement therapies or recommend specific exercise programs. This could include practices like yoga or Pilates. These approaches aim to improve physical function, reduce pain, enhance body awareness, and promote overall well-being.
Environmental
Medicine
A specific area of holistic medicine that addresses environmental impacts on a person’s health and seeks to discover underlying causes for symptoms. Practitioners use environmental medicine to treat health symptoms that may be associated with toxic exposure, including chemicals in food, water, air, medications, recreational drugs, or any other source. It focuses on the numerous physical and chemical hazards found in the environment, both natural and man-made.
Homeopathy
A 200-year-old form of alternative medicine that claims to stimulate a healing response and strengthen the body’s ability to heal itself. It is a holistic system of medicine based on the theory of treating “like with like.” The aim is to stimulate the body’s own healing response to disease and illness.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy: Osteopathic medicine is based on the idea that all the body’s systems are interrelated. Osteopaths focus on treating the whole person. The belief is that correcting problems with the body’s structure can help the body heal itself. One key idea in this field is that many diseases result from, or cause, problems within the body's musculoskeletal system, which includes nerves, muscles, and bones.
Biofeedback &
Neurofeedback
Biofeedback and Neurofeedback: Both are non-invasive, drug-free therapies that help people regulate their physiological and neurological responses. Biofeedback measures and promotes desired physiological changes, while neurofeedback is a type of biofeedback that measures brain activity.
Lifestyle Medicine
Lifestyle Medicine: Operates from a holistic health approach that works to treat root causes of health issues. It examines and solves upstream causes of chronic conditions. As a preventative measure, lifestyle medicine seeks to prescribe behavior changes that reduce unhealthy behaviors and focus on the promotion of positive ones, encouraging healthy practices that support mind and body wellness.
